Hello, my name is Clara Valenzuela!
I’m an illustrator based in Tucson, Arizona. My artwork inspirations range from mythical folk art to my favorite music artists.
I attended and studied film + television and studio art at the University of Arizona. My last year of college I took a strong interest in animation. After being an artist my whole life, studying film then animation, I knew I wanted to write stories, create characters and worlds whether that was in live action or animation. Whichever came first, I figured my passions were a melting pot of a dream career that I can someday live.
I’m currently working with my family’s business and doing freelance work as an illustrator on my spare time. I sell my art on social media and at local markets under the art name My Silver Spring after my favorite Fleetwood Mac song.
